Contract Administrator
Job Title: Project Administrator with Contracts Experience
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Estimating/Project Management
Duties:
- Read, review and re-negotiate Contracts and Subcontracts for conformity to contract requirements and determines what is acceptable to our Company.
- Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts.
- Provides proper certificates of insurance to all contractors. Ensures that certificates are issued in a timely manner and that we are providing proper coverage.
- Types all Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements. Assure that suppliers and Subcontractors have proper insurance coverage.
- Order all new jobsite trailers.
- Track RFI's and Submittals.
- Assigns all 900 (extra work) codes.
- Types scope letters and other exhibits that may be required for bid processing.
- Complies with job closeout requests from General Contract by submitting proper paperwork and documentation. Assures Subcontractors and Vendors comply with close out requests.
- Reviews all correspondence concerning contractors and responds as necessary. Distributes correspondence to necessary recipients.
- Type T&M's and COR's and logs all T&M's and COR's in excel spreadsheet.
- Acts as liaison between company, contractors and subcontractors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job requires little supervision. Contracts Administrator works directly with Project Managers and Superintendents.
